Vodafone to Offer Hewlett Packard 3G Smartphones
Europe UK : HP announced an unity with Vodafone in Europe that will provide customers access to Vodafones merry speed network on two new smartphones launched today - the HP iPAQ Speech Messenger and the HP iPAQ Data Messenger.

The new HP iPAQ Voice Messenger and the HP iPAQ Data Herald will be available through Vodafones business sales channels starting in the UK, with other European countries to be announced.

HP has announced two new iPAQ smartphones for the European markets – the HP iPAQ Text Messenger and the HP iPAQ Voice Messenger. The HP iPAQ Data Messenger has the Windows Non-stationary 6.1 Professional operating system, a 2.81” touch cover and full QWERTY keyboard that slides out from the side of the phone, when you hold the phone horizontally. This smartphone has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, assisted GPS, a 3.1 Megapixel camera with autofocus and 5x digital zoom, 128 MB SDRAM, 256 MB showy ROM, and a micro SD card slot which can accept up to 8GB SD card. It has 3G wireless broadband connectivity for expression and data. The phone on this device is a quad band GSM/GPRS/Itchy 1900 MHz). (850/900/1800/1900 MHz). The device has Google maps movable and 30 day trial for turn-by-turn navigation.
The iPAQ Expression Messenger is a more compact smartphone. Instead of a full QWERTY keyboard, it only has a 20-key keyboard with alphanumeric/QWERTY layout. This smartphone has the paradigm version of Windows Mobile 6.1. It has a 2.4” non-suggestion screen, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 128 MB SDRAM, and 256 MB Flare ROM. It also has a 3.1 Megapixel camera, assisted GPS, Google maps responsive, a micro SD external card slot, and 30-day nuisance for turn-by-turn navigation.
The two devices are expected to be at one's fingertips in November in the U.K. No announcement has been made regarding their availability in the U.S. Initially they will be offered only through Vodafone, and later they will be sold SIM-free-born without a contract. The unsubsidized iPAQ Data Messenger will sell at £399 while the iPAQ Assert Messenger will be sold for £333.
